Abstract

The destination of the construction waste is a problem that becomes worse as the time goes by, and that affects the environmental conditions, with consequences for whole society. In this work, aiming to minimize the environmental impact caused by these residues, it was studied the use of recycled aggregates in the composition of interlocking pavement. Laboratory rehearsals were performed to evaluate the behavior of this concrete manufactured with recycled aggregates. Analyses of the mechanical resistance parameters were made and, the defi ned standards according to the Brazilian norms, considered.
