Seeking to solve the scarcity of natural resources resulting from industrial revolutions and production models, the integration between the concepts and technologies of industry 4.0 and circular economy should meet new resource optimizations. This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric research, from the scientific databases Scopus and Web Of Science, and map the cases of joint application of circular economy with industry 4.0 comparatively to MW company. Through this research, it was demonstrated the growth of the circular economy or industry 4.0 theme in recent years, but lacking studies on the joint use of the processes. It was concluded that the existing enabling technologies in Industry 4.0 and Circular Economy (CE), overcome operationalization challenges, smoothing the transition of the supply chain from a linear to circular model. The combined use of these contribute to the sustainability of the organization.
