Development of the concept of a pool access platform for people with reduced mobility

This work deals with the Product Development methodology aligned with the concepts of ergonomics with the objective of developing the design of a platform for accessibility to swimming pools for people with reduced mobility. The methodology used in this work is characterized by technological research, which seeks the generation of new products, this begins with the definition of the task where a statement of project scope is presented. In this step, information about users' needs is raised through market research and benchmark analysis, later the information is clarified through the QFD matrix. Following is the conceptual project where the vision of the market is transformed into a technologically attractive concept, in this step is applied the morphological matrix to raise the principles of solution attending the elementary functions of the equipment. Finally, it is presented the preliminary project where the conceptual model of the product is created.
