Sobre o Portal

The UNINOVE Periodicals Portal (PPU) brings together all the journals of Nove de Julho University (UNINOVE) affiliated with the Postgraduate Programs (PPGs), aiming to make them more accessible to the scientific community and to foster greater exchange of information with other institutions. This initiative demonstrates the institutionalization of the journals.

Nove de Julho University (UNINOVE), through its commitment to Education and Research, invests in and supports the editing of scientific journals.

The PPU is registered with the Brazilian National ISSN Center (CBISSN) under the number 2965-9590

Currently, there are 15 journals covering the areas of Administration, Law, Education, Engineering, Urban Planning, and Health. The frequency of each journal varies according to the choice of its editors, ranging from continuous flow in a single issue, continuous flow divided into issues throughout the year, semiannual, quarterly, to online publication of the approved article. Accepted languages include Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, and Italian. Some journals are published in bilingual format. For access and more information about each journal, click here.

All journals have an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN). Articles receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) upon publication. Indexing includes, among others: Scopus, Redalyc, Ebsco, Educ@, Lilacs, etc.

In the UNINOVE Periodicals Portal (PPU), research can be conducted across all university journals, which enhances accessibility for academic community consultations.

The journals are covered by the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-SA Attribution - NonCommercial license, meaning the material cannot be used for commercial purposes, aligning with the Open Access movement that has grown since the Budapest Declaration. All journals are members and adopt the Best Practices recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

The journals provide immediate open access to content, following the principle that freely providing scientific publications to the public promotes greater democratization of information and knowledge generation. Thus, no fees are charged for the journals. They are entirely free and open access publications. The LOCKSS System and Cariniana Network are used for digital preservation.

The UNINOVE Periodicals Portal (PPU) utilizes the Open Journal System (OJS) platform, an interface that allows for the assignment of Digital Object Identifiers (DOI) through association with Crossref, as well as integration of ORCID for authors. All efforts are made to maintain academic integrity, and therefore all journals use iThenticate for double-checking similarity verification.
