Abstract

The study of the footprint allows diagnosing different pathologies that attack the foot structure, facilitating the appropriate treatment. This quantitative and descriptive research analyzes the footprints emitted by two equipments: plantigraphy and computerized baropodometry. 28 asymptomatic voluntaries were submitted to the study (that corresponds to 56 feet), man and woman, aged 20 to 30 years old. Data were collected by both equipments that presented the footprints, which were analyzed and classified using the same method. The concordance between both examinations, calculated by Kappa statistical measure, had presented a moderate agreement without statistical significance.
