This research intended to evaluate the main postural alterations in the postoperative period, the type of scar, the possible appearance of keloids, fibrosis and adherence in the scar region, as well as the level of satisfaction of these patients in relation to the surgery result. All analyzed patients presented hypertrophic scars, regions with fibroses and adherences, and only one of them did not have formation of keloids. They were submitted to manual lymphatic drainage sessions, cyriax massage and ultrasound. The most significant were: previous head, unbalance and internal rotation of the shoulders, column kyphosis and scoliosis, mainly in the dorsal region. The kyphotic positioning can have been caused by the antalgic position the patients adopted. After that, they were indicated postural correction such as RPG, Pilates and Manual Therapy. It is believed that physiotherapy in postoperative treatment provides an improvement in reduction of swell and the repairing of the scar.Downloads
