The objective of this work is to verify in healthy individuals the time of rest that is necessary for the reabsorption of the lactic acid, to prevent muscular fatigue. Blood samples of 18 individuals were collected, at seven moments. A square shaped and two-phase chain was used, with 50 Hz, 10 second of t”on”, and changeable t”off” to each session: 10 second (protocol 1) and 60 second (protocol 2), on the motor point of tibialis anterior muscle. After the collection of blood, the lacticacidemia was executed. It was observed that there was not statistical significant difference (p<0,05) between protocols 1 (1,35±0,22) and 2 (1,24±0,12). In accordance with our results, we can affirm that the tool of measurement used in this study, lactacidemia, is not efficient in the detection and measurement of the muscular fatigue of tibialis anterior muscle, making impracticable, therefore, to verify the ideal time of rest (t”off”).Downloads
