Results: There were 10 eligible elderly hypertensive (70.7 ± 7.4 years). There was a significant correlation between functional fitness and the domains of the SF-36 before and after training, respectively: physical functioning, role limitations due to physical and vitality. Conclusion: There was a relationship between the distance walked in 6MWT and those domains of the SF-36, which express functional capacity.
