Abstract

Introduction: The performance of health professionals in multi-professional teams has stood out itself for the past few years in the Brazilian public health. Objective: In this aspect, the purpose of this study was to investigate into the scientific literature related to multi-professionals in the last ten years. Methods: The searches for articles were performed in the Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (Virtual Health Library) – BVS, which includes the PubMed, SciELO, Bireme and Lilacs, and in the Google Scholar. Results: A total of 462 articles were found, of which 241 contained the full text. The abstracts of these were reviewed, and 13 articles were selected for final analysis. Conclusion: We concluded that in the articles researched the teamwork has been reported as a great achievement for the public health care even with the challenges faced by the SUS and the professionals.
