Introduction: Treatment of breast cancer can lead to complications that affect the quality of life (QoL) of women. Objective: To evaluate the influence of domestic guidelines on QoL in women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Methods: During the lectures, we identified 223 women undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Of these, 39 met the inclusion criteria, which were that they had not received home guidance or physical therapy. They then answered the QoL questionnaire (QLQ-BR-23) and received counselling. The QoL questionnaire was answered again on average six months after the guidelines, with their scores statistically analyzed (p<0.05). Results: No statistical difference was observed in QoL scores, except for the domain side effects, which worsened in the revaluation. Conclusion: The home physiotherapy counselling did not influence QoL of women undergoing treatment for breast cancer.Downloads
