Protagonismo do Gerente de Projetos em demandas institucionais caracterizadas por alta inovação tecnológica

Um dos fatores mais importantes quanto ao sucesso dos projetos é a atuação do gerente de projetos. O objetivo deste artigo é verificar se o protagonismo de um gerente de projetos, em atividades com um ambiente de alta complexidade, em função da inovação tecnológica e da pressão gerada por ser uma demanda institucional legal, é um fator chave de sucesso do projeto. Para alcançar o objetivo proposto foi realizada uma pesquisa qualitativa. Os dados foram obtidos através de entrevistas com gerentes de projetos e integrantes das equipes. Para essa análise, utilizou-se o software MAXQDA. O principal resultado obtido, entre outros, foi a relevância do papel desempenhado pelo gerente de projetos e a forte relação com o sucesso do projeto e com outras habilidades gerenciais.
