Abstract

Comparing the production of a Ready Care Unit under the management of the Municipal Hospital Autarchy, a discrepancy between the number of approved procedures and the amounts established was verified, although the Unified Health System does not pay the municipal and state authority for production, Registered in the SIGTAP were used as indicators of the accuracy of the database, aiming to elaborate an instrument to facilitate the monitoring of the accuracy of some essential procedures to be included in the database of the Ambulatory Information System in the emergency and emergency service. Using the action research, it was possible to detail the phases of the codification process, to elaborate and apply the instrument, to follow the results that showed an increase in the financial value of the procedure, from R $ 1.16 to R $ 6.04, which demonstrated the effectiveness of The proposed instrument, which was expanded to the other health facilities.
