Abstract

The arterial hypertension is an illness with multifactorial causes, chronic, frequently connected witch metabolic, hormonal trofic’s phenomenal alterations, and because of the frequency they repeat, it constitutes a true clinical syndrome. The arterial hypertension is high; it is estimated from 15 to 20% of Brazilian population with more than 18 years, can be attacked by the illness. (SOCIEDADE BRASILEIRA DE HIPERTENSÃO, 1998). Identity graduating student’s knowlegement about smoke as an arterial hypertension unleasher. It’s a descriptive research done at a private teaching institute located at São Paulo’s North Zone the sample. We conclude that youngers know the causes of arterial hypertension, but the most fear of the smoke’s harmful is attributed to cancer.
