In this study, we developed a theoretical model of the decision-making process for how to exploit a system’s constraints based on the planning and control of a TOC production strategy for its subsequent practical implementation in factories with repetitive production systems and multiple products to meet demand. We applied the model through action research in a manufacturing plant for adventure, hunting, and fishing goods; the results were a reduction of around 50% in the level of stocks of finished products, qualification of the stocks of finished product, since most warehoused products were among the most difficult to make and the most sold, and increased productivityDownloads
