Abstract

This work presents the methodology used in the development of a computational program for the simulation of the fixed bed grain drying with low temperatures, based in the Hukill’s Model. The computational program, called SIMH, was written in Object Pascal language using the platform programming Delphi 5. The SIMH’s output generates a profile of the drying process in agreement with the conditions supplied by the user. The results simulated by the developed computational program were satisfactory, presenting errors within acceptable ranges for the drying processes considered.
