Uso de planilhas eletrônicas no ensino de tomada de decisão em cursos superiores

Abstract

Information technology allied to information systems have led to competitive advantages to corporations that make good use of them. In their current shape, these systems are mainly composed by information technology, organization and people. This paper presents a study on the use of electronic spreadsheets in the superior teaching as part of the information systems bound to computational support for decision making. The authors’ experience as professors in bachelor and technology courses is considered in the disciplines that use spreadsheets and researches tending toward the use of these tools. It is suggested the learning of these important computational tools for persons who want to join in the corporation area, resembling what is taking place in the superior teaching, with the growing usage of electronic spreadsheets for supporting the decision making process.
