Abstract

In the modern world, the concept of project management becomes increasingly important, as well as the changes taking place in the area, which we call trends. These trends focus on strategic management issues, stakeholder value creation, technical issues, the need for multidisciplinary, and organizational strategy issues. This article presents a systematic review of the literature on trends in project management, with the objective of presenting clearly the main trends, their impacts on project management and the challenges to be faced by the professionals of the area.
