The Experience Lived by Elderly in Their Visits to a Shopping Center: Proposal of a Theoretical Model

The present paper aims the creation of a theoretical model to understand the experience lived by consumers in their visits to a Shopping Center, therefore, the application of the model developed for elderly consumers in Belo Horizonte city . This study is based on a qualitative research strategy, with the purpose of identifying deeper perceptions, such as feelings and emotions, having as a technique the content analysis of 10 interviews, with shopping customers over 65 years old who could have experiences to report the phenomenon researched. In view of the presented research problem and in relation to the methodological aspects, it was concluded that the experience lived by the elderly can be described by aesthetic experiences, social, escapism, services and fun.Downloads
