Abstract

The article presents the evaluation of the teaching climate in the perception of the students of the Physical Education course of the Pedagogical University, since it constitutes one of the areas of educational research of greater relevance in the educational institutions. For the data collection, the questionnaire on the Modified Educational Teaching Climate proposed and validated by López and Lisástigui (2012) was applied. The research was developed in the Faculty and in the Departments of Physical Education and Sport (Maxixe, Quelimane and Nampula) of the Pedagogical University, and 217 students were randomly selected from the second to the eighth semester of the course. For the analysis and interpretation of the data, descriptive statistics were calculated. Regarding the conclusions, they generally suggest that the students' perception of the Teaching Climate is regular.
