Quality Level of Work Life of Employees in a Geriatric Clinic

Abstract

Quality levels of work life are fundamental for the business development process. The goal is to understand the levels of quality of work life in a team with a lot of professionals from different areas in a geriatric clinic. 34 employees have participated, from 3 sections of the clinic, 10 professionals from the support section, 6 from the health section and 18 from nursing section. All professionals have answered 78 questions of the Quality of Working Life Questionnaire (QWLQ-78). At the end, the statistics have been analyzed by the program SPSS version 19.0 (ANOVA p< 0,05) and by the values of the own scale. The results demonstrate that in the physical/health domain all sections showed satisfaction values in work, classified as "Neutral", whereas psychological domain, personal and professional was "Satisfactory" (p> 0,05). The conclusion is that all sections have no hindrance in worklife quality
