Vantagens, barreiras e estratégias para economia circular: uma abordagem teórica

A Economia Circular (EC) é uma abordagem de foco atual que contempla uma série de ações, como redução de desperdícios, reutilização de recursos naturais e produtivos e reciclagem de materiais. O presente estudo teve por objetivo explorar as vantagens, barreiras e estratégias para EC. Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de literatura nas bases de dados Science Direct, Scopus e Web of Science. Foram analisados 54 estudos, a partir da aplicação de procedimentos de filtragem e ordenação de artigos. Como resultado, observou-se que a EC é um conceito relevante e aplicável nas empresas, em decorrência de suas vantagens econômicas, ambientais e sociais almejadas, contudo, sua aplicação é complexa, demanda tempo e engloba uma diversidade de barreiras estruturais, econômicas, sociais e políticas. Os principais agentes inseridos em EC são clientes, colaboradores e fornecedores da empresa interessada, governo, pesquisadores institucionais e sociedade.
