Ergonomic handrail for multiusers ramp

Abstract

The century XX registered significant progresses concerned to the understanding of life forms in the planet and the human beings, in our complexity of values, creeds and forms of social organization. The respect for human diversity drives us to observe that people have different abilities and some, need special conditions. The objective of this study is to propose an ergonomic handrail project in ramp for multiusers. The project follows the parameters established in the effective norms of the city of São Paulo and in the daily observations, due to mensurations and some handrails installed in ramps photographed. From this study, one can infer that the handrail in ramp proposed assists most of the people.
