Abstract

The optimization of resources in production cooperates in reducing costs and/or increasing the sector's productivity, through the use of decision support instruments. Thus, the objective of this study evaluated simulation models capable of economically scaling the resources needed to carry out the Disassembly, Transport and Assembly (DTM) of drilling rigs for onshore oil and gas wells. The method adopted was based on data analysis obtained through interviews and observations in the operation of the probes, whose models were monitored by the Arena software. The results evaluated, after tests under different scenarios, that an increase of 34% in the general amount of resources employed provides a reduction of more than 95% in the waiting time in line, standing out as the best alternative in terms of economic and productive gains. It was concluded, from simulation models qualified by imitating the system, the identification and dimension of adequate resources to meet the DTM planning in drilling rigs in an economical and efficient way.
