Abstract

The increasing needs for business efficiency improvement generates demands for new technologies. Such demands expand to logistics processes and the cyber-physical systems are the new trends to put these processes in a competitive level. For the implementation effectiveness of these new technologies it is need to develop a management model, for both technology and knowledge, looking for a lasting implementation, which can be disseminated through all corporation. The aim of this paper is to propose a technology and knowledge management model to support the integration of cyber-physical systems to the firms logistics processes. The proposed model aims to facilitate and speed up the cyber-physical systems integration to the firms logistics processes, such as material and information flows, by the technology and knowledge management, allowing the firms to monitor their performance improvement, sustaining a competitive advantage.
