Abstract

From the agribusiness perspective, the supply networks involve both upstream and downstream links in the supply chain. Supply networks include mutual exchanges, using a strategic expectation that considers structural, contractual, social and information sharing aspects, as well as quality management. The objective of this study was to identify how the governance instruments influence the quality management in the soybean supply network. It was also intended to contribute to the development of academic knowledge on the topic addressed and to the improvement of managerial practices, which reflect the improvement of the agribusiness sector. An analysis and synthesis of interviews with Brazilian soybean producers was developed. This research was characterized as a multiple case study, investigating governance in the Mato Grosso Soybean Supply Network.
