Influência da assimetria de poder e da reciprocidade na estabilidade do relacionamento em cadeias de suprimentos: um estudo de efeitos moderadores

As pesquisas realizadas no âmbito da Cadeia de Suprimentos (SC) e da Gestão da Cadeia de Suprimentos (SCM) apontam para a necessidade de integração, cooperação e compartilhamento de informações entre os parceiros de negócio. Para o compartilhamento e cooperação dentro da SC, pressupõe-se a imprescindibilidade de confiabilidade entre os parceiros e, portanto, a reciprocidade. No entanto, a prática do oportunismo entre as organizações, pode levar à assimetria informacional, colocando em risco o relacionamento. Assim, este ensaio tem por objetivo realizar uma discussão teórica a parit dos conceitos de reciprocidade e assimetria informacional, com vistas a se gerar proposituras que possam nortear pesquisas empíricas futuras e, preencher lacunas até então, não exploradas ou cobertas pela extensa literatura em SC e SCM. Como resultado, foi proposto um modelo hipotético-dedutivo, apresentando a articulação dos respectivos construtos: assimetria de poder, reciprocidade e estabilidade no relacionamento, assumindo como variáveis moderadoras a assimetria de tamanho e o tempo de relacionamento, articulando-se para tal, oito preposições fundamentadas em um conjunto de teorias inerentes ao campo de Operations Management.
