The Journal of Environmental Management and Sustainability (GeAS) aims to bring together outstanding manuscripts that have as their primary objective to understand the role of social, economic, environmental, demographic, health resource determinants, among others, in the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the pandemic's amplifying effect on pre-existing socio-environmental inequalities and vulnerabilities, which have resulted in worsening inequities regarding various human basic needs - both individual and collective.
