To keep organizations competitive in an increasingly aggressive market requires investment in alternatives to optimize the processes and means for improving customer service, through the acquisition of tools that increase the speed, quality and reliability of the services provided. The objective of this study is to determine the economic feasibility of implementing a digital signature system in the logistics processes of a fuel transport company. After researching the bibliography, we opted for deduction as the basis for the study with a qualitative and quantitative approach for a case study to assist the company Transio, located in São Luís, Maranhão, with decision-making on the topic of this study. Our study shows that the proposal of an information system to optimize logistics processes as well as economic viability brings benefits to companies, such as improvement in their logistics processes.
