Abstract

The main objective of this article is to compare Lean Production and Lean Construction by means of three techniques: the use of kanbans; Line Balancing X Line of Balance and supplier network. For this, a bibliographic survey was carried out based on the weighting model proposed by Etges (2012). The main result found is the increase of solutions and strategies aimed specifically at the Lean Construction universe, which contributes to the consolidation of this as a distinct philosophy of Lean Production. This article may be of interest to companies in the Construction sector and also to public agencies and researchers related to the sector.
