Abstract

This article has characterized and identified the operational flows of the production chain of organic mushrooms on a small property in the Federal District that produces and industrializes the organic mushroom. This is an exploratory research, which used case study as a research method. The study was done for a better understanding of the processes of a rural property that operates integrating the links in the entire production chain so as to overcome the difficulties inherent in its disorganization. As a result, the article presented the characterization of the property and a description of the production chain of organic mushrooms in the Federal District, as well as the opportunities and difficulties faced by the farmer in question during the entire production process.
