In organizations, project management is a body of knowledge used in three dimensions: operational, organizational and strategic. The strategic dimension, the organization comes to deciding which projects to execute and use resources to run them. In this paper, we present the results of a study that sought to answer the following question: How the processes of project management in its strategic dimension, are structured and conducted in organizations oriented projects? Case studies were made, compared to a bibliographic reference, to answer that question. The results show remarkable similarity between the cases and allow the evolution of the knowledge on the subject.
