Abstract

This technical report highlights the Restructuring Project of the School of Public Health of Ceará, a precursor to InovaESP, with the aim of transforming the institution into an Institute of Science and Technology, aligned with the Modernization Plan of the Health Department of the State of Ceará. The case study methodology was employed, involving document analysis, interviews, and direct and participant observation. The achieved results include the implementation of a new management model, the consolidation of the project management office, and advancements in organizational learning. The intervention facilitated adaptation to new management approaches and tools, providing theoretical contributions and practical implications. Socially, it serves as an agent of cultural change, transforming the School of Public Health into a learning organization, bringing significant benefits to both management and society.
