Abstract

This technical report proposes the development of a dashboard to assess the scientific output of the Postgraduation Program in Administration (PPGA) at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), considering the crucial role of public universities in promoting sustainable social development. The adopted methodology incorporates text mining and natural language processing techniques, utilizing artificial intelligence. The approach follows the principles of Design Science Research (DSR), providing replicability in other Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The implementation of topic modeling and categorization of works based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) aims to extract meaningful information about the addressed themes and evaluate the program's commitment to sustainable development. It is noteworthy that the proposal goes beyond quantitative metrics, seeking a multidimensional approach that integrates SDG assessment with advanced textual analysis techniques. It is believed that this strategy will provide a richer and more contextualized understanding of the social and scientific relevance of the academic production of PPGA. The proposed dashboard is presented as a strategic tool for informed decision-making, enabling the program to assess its contribution to society more precisely and effectively.
