How to Take Advantage of Opportunities as an Authorized Federal Revenue Service Operator

Abstract

This paper presents a strategic plan of an opportunity offered by the Brazilian Authorized Economic Operator Program (AEO), managed by the Federal Revenue Service, which allows the reduction of operational costs for companies operating in Brazilian foreign trade, through the adaptation of Procedures to international compliance standards in customs operations. In order to qualify for the program, many companies that operate in foreign trade will need specialized consulting, due to adaptation costs to this process. This paper presents an opportunity for business consulting to offer services support for companies to benefit from this program. PORTORIUM was prepared to take advantage of this opportunity, whose process and actions are presented in this report, which is structured starting with the characterization of the opportunity, the context in terms of market, then its diagnosis, finalizing with the action plans for its use where the challenge of this work was to deal with the novelty and variables of the process of AEO implementation in Brazil.
