Abstract

The aim of this study was to identify Industry 4.0 technologies that are being used in the agricultural supply chain to reduce losses. A Systematic Literature Review was carried out and, in its methodology, the authors, inspired by the 7 Lean wastes, raised the wastes found in the literature as well as the Industry 4.0 technologies, using the Scopus (Elsevier) database. The PRISMA protocol was used to screen the papers, and the Mendeley and SciMAT software assisted in the analysis of the selected documents. The analysis of 12 studies indicates that the most cited Lean wastes, between the years of 2011 and 2021, were processing losses, poor management of resources and energy, defective products, transportation, inventory, misinformation of stakeholders and lack of transparency and traceability of products in the supply chain. Still, the technologies pointed out for the mitigation of these setbacks were simulation, sensors, decision support tools and risk analysis and blockchain.
