Currently, organizations need competitive advantages that also promote a form of development that allows them to achieve sustainability and security in the marketplace. The purpose of this study was to develop a long-term quality management plan focused on productive efficiency based on the quality economics to ensure the longevity of a tire remodeling organization. Thus, principles of quality economics, methods engineering, and chronoanalysis were used. We discovered that there is no follow-up of the productive processes on the part of the managers, as well as no quality management. We conclude that the techniques used were efficient to form a management policy that was adequate for the medium- and long-term needs of the company and to maintain its competitiveness and longevity. In addition, it is worth highlighting that quality management is essential as a tool to support decision-making and to allow managers to better understand the factors that interfere with the production process.Downloads
