Abstract

Traditional methodologies for project management can no longer cope projects where factors such as complexity , risk , resource constraints , priority -term value creation for the business , strategic alignment are in intrinsic part of the management problem . The ITIL framework emerges as a benchmark for the smart technological standardization in the area of ​​information technology . Large global companies and many companies in emerging countries are adopting ITIL to make changes in information technology in an attempt to put the area of information technology in the service business, strategically aligned with the guidelines and priorities for corporate growth . Many companies have implemented ITIL through the assumptions , tools and techniques of PRINCE2 methodology for managing projects successfully . This fact is due in many cases to focus on the conceptual framework PRINCE2 in strategic alignment of IT with business objectives and this fact coincides with a major goal of ITIL and thus ITIL deploy through PRINCE2 has been an assertive strategy and success. Demonstrate this dynamic link between both structures of knowledge is one of the main goals of this article .
