O Supply Chain Management as a Source of Competitive Advantages of Organizations

This article seeks to demonstrate how supply chain management can be used as a strategy that can result in a competitive advantage for organizations. For this was taken as the main bases the reduction of costs in logistics operations and the creation of value for the customer. From the bibliographic reviews, the evolution of logistics and supplies was presented, as well as the concepts needed to understand the management of the supply chain of companies. The importance of integration, trust and collaboration between the members involved in this chain and the organizations involved is also important, contributing decisively to an efficient and less complex management.
