Abstract

The present study aims to study if the Natura Company according to the principle of transparency when establishing the benefit sharing agreement with traditional communities in the Amazon, evidence of inputs and traditional knowledge associated with biodiversity. In this sense, they are known for traditional knowledge and international communications, by Brazilian legislative law and by Law13, 123 / 2015 - a qualification of access to traditional knowledge associated with biodiversity. It then carried out an analysis of the insertion of the agreement to repair benefits without legal right, as well as in Brazilian environmental legislation, based on international documents signed by Brazil. Finally, it is analyzed as internal policies adopted by the Natura Company regarding transparency in the process of repairing benefits, comparing the data provided by the Company's website. Finally, it is concluded that the transparency used in the advertising discourse of the company differs from transparency for a regulation of traditional knowledge associated with biodiversity.
