Retraction and correction policy
If there is suspicion of wrongdoing or alleged fraud in an article, the Editors will conduct an investigation. After investigating what happened, if necessary, the editors will contact the authors in question to request explanations and a defense. Based on the information collected and verified, the editors will be decide:
- That the article, if still in an editorial process, should be rejected.
- If the article has already been published, the editors can decide to invite the authors to provide an errata or correction that can be placed with the article; or, in severe cases, retraction of the article may occur.
