Maturity in Project Management: Systematics that Generates Gains for Organizations

In an increasingly complex and competitive market, the competition for customers is increasingly fierce. The projects in enterprises are sources of growth, development and survival. However, the lack of skill and success in implementing these is common among organizations. Arises, in this sense, a challenge to manage more skilled and more efficient projects, in order to meet various requirements that systematic patterns. Maturity models in Project Management analyze how skilled an organization is in managing their projects. These models are able to provide inputs for the establishment of a plan for improvement in organizations. This paper will make an analysis of the maturity models already developed and will also demonstrate a practical case of increased project success after the implementation of a growth plan.
