Abstract

This article aims to examine the conflict between Universalism and Communitarism on the subject of Human Rights, analyzing the Islamic women's case in French, on the perspective of the communitarian philosopher Charles Taylor, to address the importance of recognizing the environment into which individuals are embedded, or by other social agents, the society itself, mainly by the State institutions.
