Abstract

The objective of this paper is to identify in the ancient Roman legal system, even in an elementary way, on the one hand the bases of what is understood nowadays as neighborhood relations and, on the other hand, somehow to enlighten the mistaken idea of the private ancient Roman property having assumed, since its origins, an absolute, limitless character without any frontier, in order to perceive, starting from this point, the property as a theoretical picture which requires that relations.
