Some considerations on the methodologic procedures in educational researches

Abstract

This text discusses the scientific methods of research as something constructed through the process of investigation. Investigating involves a healthy debate of ideas, theoretical perspectives and practice. The article also raises some questions involving human sciences researches in Brazil, particularly those concerning the educational area. Problems of method and content of specific fields of knowledge maintain an intimate relation which, in turn, are interconnected with the conceptions, values and attitudes assumed by researchers. The exam of this interrelationship is viewed as part of the scientific production process.
