Abstract

The present study intends to highlight some reflections related to the legal education crisis in Brazil. Thus, prima facie, it is necessary to analyze the thematic from the perspective of the traditional positivist teaching in the universities, which prevents the construction of critical agents of the system, committed to the concrete realization of justice in the situations of conflicts presented. On the other hand, it will be assumed that an absolutely technical and positive legal preparation is reflected in erroneous decisions applied in society. The research in the right will be analyzed evidencing the mismatch between the rules of the codes and the social reality. Regarding methodological aspects, this study used the quantitative and qualitative method of research. Finally, it will be highlighted the need for a legal education aimed at understanding social phenomena and the importance of the future legal operator as a critical and transforming agent of sociojuridical reality.
