In this article, it is analyzed, sociologically, the publisher’s role in the book production process. Iin such a way, the publisher’s conception of it, of his role and of his audience will be examined. Thus, it is investigated the conditions to the publishers achieve the representation of his role concerning the griffe of the publishing company. Iit is also studied the way this griffe is able to translate itself into reading habits.Downloads
