In a group of young Brazilians of the state of Amazonas, sons and grandsons of Amazonas parents, with normal occlusion, the 1.NA and 1.NB medium angular cephalometrical values and 1-NA and 1-NB linear values were determined, used in the Steiner Analysis by means of teleradiography in lateral norm. This study utilized a group of 30 young Brazilians: 15 male and 15 female, permanent teeth, not submitted to orthodontic treatment, with normal occlusion except for the third molars, and harmony profile, with mean age of 21,6 years. After the determination of medium values of normality for the cephalometrical measures of Steiner, and after detection of no sexual dimorphism, the results of the research evidence the necessity of using a specific cephalometrical pattern in Brazilians of the state of Amazonas.Downloads
