In order to check the efficiency of the neural mobilization on the lengthening of ischiotibials muscles, ten sedentary volunteers, aged 17-40 years, were submitted to a technique of neural mobilization after range of movement (ROM) evaluation level in flexion of the articulation of the hip by the Straight Leg Raising (SLR). The tests were achieved for four following days, in a period of two weeks, totalizing eight sessions. Subsequently, it was realized a new evaluation that permitted to observe, through the results, that the neural mobilization, appropriately applied, consists of an efficient method for the improvement of the lengthening of the ischiotibial musculature and, consequently, for the profit of ROM of the hip articulation.Downloads
