Abstract

In this article of bibliographical review we analyse the results of the odontogenic infections from the immunologic viewpoint. Hence, we describe the first defense mechanisms, the induced response involving the inflammatory reaction, the specific or adaptable immune response, the systemic outcome and also the life threatening events.
