Intrahospital trasnport of critical ill adults patients: an elaboration of the website and the guidelines

Abstract

The aim of this research was to develop an educational website related to intrahospital transportation of critically ill adult patients and propose conduct guidelines concerning this way of transport. It was an applied research which used Trochim’s methodology (1999), based on a four-level model that mix interactive and cyclical planning activities, development and evaluation. The site is available on NIEN’s page of UNIFESP’s Nursing School Department. For its availability on the World Wide Web, the site was previously evaluated by experts in computing, emergency and intensive nursing care and general nurses that analyzed its contents, methodology, manipulation, usage and project.
